The 40 contestants of this year’s Queen Sonja International Music Competition will engage in competition, masterclasses, and career advisement sessions with international opera leaders – set in some of Oslo’s greatest music venues. At the other end, grand prizes and important concert deals await.

The majority of the events in this year’s competition programme are open to the public, and in most cases free of charge. Would you like to hear opera singers from every corner of the world give the wonders of Norwegian classical music a try? Or what about experiencing one of the leading international opera directors, Stefan Herheim, in action? We are proud to present our audience programme for QSIMC 2019.
