How to Apply

All applicants must apply using the online application form. The application window for the 2025 competition will be open from the 1st of February to the 1st of April at 11.59pm (CET).

The application must include video footage of two self-chosen operatic arias of contrasting styles. The combined recordings should be a maximum of 10 minutes long.

Video recordings must be performed by the applicant and may not be edited, nor should any effects be added. Applicants are responsible for ensuring that the video is recorded with good quality (image and sound). To ensure that poor recording quality does not interfere with the jury’s ability to review the material, avoid distortion, and ensure that the accompaniment is not louder than the applicant. Limiter (equalizer) should NOT be used. You will not be penalised for the quality of your video, although it is important that it is good enough to see and hear you clearly. Videos should be recorded no more than 6-12 months before the date of your submission.

Additionally, applicants must provide a repertoire list consisting of 10 works, a copy of their passport, an updated CV and a digital photo.

The application window for the 2025 competition will be open between 1 February and 1 April 2025.
