Welcome to the preliminary rounds 14th and 15th August!

41 singers from 20 nations will be performing in the competition’s preliminary rounds. Performances will be broadcasted in a live streaming on the competition’s YouTube channel and will be opened for the public.

The participants will perform together with their pianists out of their respective locations from all around the world, spread across 8 time zones.

The preliminary rounds will follow the below schedule:

Saturday 14th August

15.00 – 16.30 Participants 1 – 8
16.30 – 17.10 Break 1
17.10 – 18.30 Participants 9 – 14
18.30 – 19.00 Break 2
19.00 – 20.30 Participants 15 – 21

Sunday 15th August

15.00 – 16.30 Participants 22 – 29
16.30 – 17.10 Break 1
17.10 – 18.20 Participants 30 – 35
18.20 – 18.40 Break 2
18.40 – 20.00 Participants 36 – 41

An international jury will choose 12 participants to proceed to the semifinals in Oslo 24th October.
The results of the preliminary rounds will be announced on the competition’s homepage 16th August.
