Guro Thronæs-Sivertsen

Voice: Soprano

Guro Thronæs-Sivertsen (b.2003) is a Norwegian soprano from Porsgrunn, currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Vocal Performance at The Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo with prof. Ann-Helen Moen. 

She has been a soloist with several orchestras, choirs and wind bands, won prizes in the Midgard-Competition and recieved Drømmestipendet in 2023. She has participated in the production of Janacek’s “The Diary of One Who Vanished” during Valdres Summer Symphony Festival 2023, and attended masterclasses with Lise Davidsen (during the Bergen International Festival, May 2023), Susanna Eken, Randi Stene, Iréne Theorin, Susan Bullock, Anne Margrethe Dahl a.o. and participated in Skagen International Opera Masterclass, Lied the Way in Florence and Voksenåsen Summer Academy. 

In September 2024, she portrays Miss Schlesen in the production of Philip Glass’ Satyagraha at the Norwegian Opera and Ballet, with the Master students at the Oslo Opera Academy, during the Ultima contemporary music festival.
