Julie Jensen Storvik

Voice: Soprano

Julie Jensen Storvik is born in Bergen, but raised in Oslo. She is a lyric soprano and are singing mostly opera repertoire and lied songs. She was 16 years old when she started to sing in “The Norwegian Girls choir”. At the same time she did three years at Foss music high school. After high school she took one year at Toneheim folkehøyskole with Matthew Mark Marriott as her teacher. After that she started her 4- year bachelor at Barratt Due Musikkinstitutt, with Torgun Birkeland as her teacher. Now she is on her 2. year master at Barratt Due musikkinstitutt. 

Julie has participated in a lot of courses and masterclasses with teachers like Susanna Eken, Anne Margrethe Dahl, Iréne Theorin and Randi Stene. Julie have been soloists with a lot of orchestras and choirs. Last time was May 2024 when she was soloist on “Summertime” by Gershwin in Universitetets aura. She has also been singing in a lot of festivals like “Larvik barokk festival” and “Oslo opera festival”.
