Elise Kolltveit Brekke is a 24-year-old soprano from Sotra. She received her bachelor’s degree in classical singing from the University of Stavanger, where she studied under Elizabeth Norberg-Schulz. She also spent six months studying with Francesca Pedaci at the Conservatorio Giovanni Battista Martini in Bologna. During her bachelor’s studies, Elise participated in several productions, taking on roles such as Serpina in La Serva Padrona (Pergolesi), Barbarina in Le Nozze di Figaro (Mozart), and serving as an understudy for Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi (Puccini). Additionally, she was an intern with Opera Rogaland, where she performed the role of Mrs. Gobineau in The Medium by Gian Carlo Menotti. Elise is currently continuing her opera studies at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, where she is further developing her artistic expression and preparing for a future career in opera.
