Ingeborg Skarre Stensland

Voice: Mezzo-soprano

Ingeborg Skarre Stensland (f.2000) is a mezzo-soprano from Drammen, Norway. She finished her bachelor’s degree at Barratt Due Institute of Music in June 2024, and has just started her master studies at The University of Stavanger with professor Elizabeth Norberg-Schulz. In addition to her studies, Ingeborg has been part of The Norwegian Soloists’ Choir Academy and participated in several projects with professional choirs, such as The Norwegian Soloists’ Choir and Kilden Vocal Ensemble. Also, she has been engaged in several opera productions, including Ingenting at The Norwegian Opera and Ballet (2023), the world premiere of Kommandanten at OscarsborgOperaen (2023) and La Boheme at Opera Østfold (2024). Ingeborg has also arranged several successful concerts, such as Høstromanser, Toner mot jul and Pergolesis Stabat Mater. In the 2023-2024 season she was the festival manager of the annual music festival at Barratt Due Institute of Music, Fagerborgfestspillene. In July 2024 she made her debut as Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro in Viterbo in Italy, and in October 2024 she will participate in the production of Don Giovanni at Opera Rogaland.
