Tuva Brix

Voice: Soprano

Tuva Brix (b.2002) is a norwegian soprano from Trondheim. In the fall of 2025 she will begin on her 4th year on her bachelor’s degree in classical singing at the Music Conservatory in Trondheim, at NTNU.

She has a long background from the Nidaros-cathedral girls choir, at that time under leadership of Anita Brevik, where she began singing at the age of 8, and continued singing for 10 years. Through the girls choir, she got the opportunity to sing as a soloist with Trondheimsolistene multiple times, and also to be a soloist with the Trondheim Symphonic Orchestra (TSO). Choir and ensemble music is therefore close to her heart, and after her time in the girls choir, she continued as a singer in the vocal ensemble Nidaros Vokal, under leadership of Ragnar Rasmussen, since 2021.

She has also participated in multiple opera productions with Opera Trøndelag, including the opera choir in both La Traviata and Madama Butterfly, where she also sang the role of La cucina.

Tuva is also one of the founders and CEO of the chamberopera-ensemble KammeroperaUng. In 2024 she sang the role of Fiordiligi in their production of Mozart’s Così fan tutte, in collaboration with Opera Trøndelag.
